Hello family and friends,
Hope you all enjoyed a wonderful holiday weekend. As the kids in America are getting out for summer, my kids have started a new school year. They had March and April off for their summer break. Many of the older children spent the summer , helping in their villages. We are happy to have them all back home with us.
The two homes are doing well. We are blessed to have house mothers who love children and serving God. (and are great cooks).
The children in our Maeap home are especially busy. They all are attending the evening chinese language school in addition to their regular studies at the Thai school. My children in the Chiangsaen home are happy to be back in school. They are blessed to be able to study at a school where they learn Chinese and English in their schools. Most of my kids speak Chinese, but they are all learning to read and write Mandarin.
Our church in Chiangsaen has been having some awesome services on Saturday and Sunday nights. Some of my teens are on the worship team and it thrills me to see teenagers excited about going to church on Saturday nights.
The church has a new minister for the children’s church who the children love. She is an anointed teacher and worshipper.
We are truly blessed!
